Lady Legislators Participate in Four-L Assembly and Elections; Councilor Paulino Secures Regional Board Seat
ANGELES CITY, PAMPANGA – Lady legislators of Olongapo City participated in the 2026 General Assembly and Regional Elections of the Local Lady Legislators’ League (Four-L) of the Philippines Region III held last February 20, 2026 at the Majestic B. Royce Hotel in Clark.
Led by City Vice Mayor Kaye Ann S. Legaspi, the delegation included City Councilor Eyrma Yvette D. Marzan-Estrella, Sangguniang Kabataan Federation President Yzyra Marie E. Hernandez, and City Councilor Cristabelle Marie C. Paulino, who was elected as one of the Board Members.
Councilor Paulino joins an elite roster of elected Zambales leaders, including the incoming Four-L Regional President, Zambales Vice Governor Jacqueline F. Khonghun, alongside fellow Board Members Botolan Municipal Councilor Carol H. Guevarra and Sta. Cruz Municipal Councilor Maria Veronica G. Matibag.
In a Facebook post, Councilor Paulino expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve in a platform that empowers women leaders and strengthens shared commitment to responsive and inclusive governance. Further, she looks forward to championing impactful programs and initiatives for the communities across the region.
The oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected regional officials was administered by DILG Regional Director Araceli A. San Jose, reaffirming the Department’s role as a steadfast partner of the League in fostering local leadership excellence.
Four-L is a national organization dedicated to empowering women in local governance, advocating for women's rights, and providing training for female legislators across the Philippines. Composed of women legislators from various cities and provinces, it endeavors to promote gender-responsive legislation and foster collaboration among female policymakers in advancing programs for women, children, and communities.
